- Pattern making

- Cutting fabrics using Patterns

- Pattern for Phinifo

- Cutting fabrics

- Stitching

- Making Cushion

- Making Bag

- Ironing and Quality survey

 

Business Training (Based on similar SETA courses, but adjusted for sewing):

- Budget Boffins - Learning to plan and manage my finances

- Time is Money - plan my time better

- Fit for purpose - Sourcing materials

- Worth my craft - Costing for sustainability

- Client is King - Client Requirements

- Marketing and Branding

 

Social Cohesion and other complimentary modules:

- Intro to Digital marketing

- Peace Ambassador – Tier 1

- Healing of Memories (Weekend)

- Hand in Hand

- Community Dialogue

- Photography for Marketing

 

Monthly Mentorship: (10-15 min per learner once a month)

- Focused on the ability to manage money and the Budget Boffins Module.

- Short in person conversation with learner to see how they are coping

Morning Devotion and Bible Study

The program is designed to run over 3months, with 1-2 sessions per week: Sessions for sewing and Sessions for Business modules, Mentorship and Social cohesion.

 

Total number of sessions = 24.
